Our story began
with a journey
Our journeys to Los Angeles began at different times — Svetlana arrived in 2012, Olga in 2022. Though years apart, we carried with us the same thing: a deep Ukrainian tradition of gathering, hospitality, and creating meaningful moments. In our culture, time spent together is never just about food or decoration. It is about sitting a little longer than planned, conversations that unfold naturally, and moments that feel warm, real, and unhurried.
Living in Los Angeles opened a new chapter — one filled with discovery, movement, and change. In the middle of this fast-moving city, we kept returning to the same simple truth: the most meaningful moments happen when we slow down. When we step away from routine, sit close to nature, share a meal, a conversation, a sunset.
We came to it from different worlds — Olga from years in the medical field, where presence, precision, and genuine care matter deeply; Svetlana from hospitality and analytics, learning to read people and anticipate what makes an experience feel effortless. Eventually our paths met through a shared idea — creating spaces where people can simply be present with one another. This is how Mandra Soul was born.
